Ken started Wood, etc
in 1979, selling his work at the Hawaiian Heritage Galleries and several other exclusive galleries on Oahu. Premier Honolulu furniture builders Martin & McArthur hired Ken in
1985. He built furniture for them directly and by referral for many years until relocating with Wood, etc. to Maui in 1992.
From the beginning, Ken has delighted
children (and their parents) with his exquisite (naturally, non-toxic) building blocks sets, and many others with the precision
of his craftsmanship building unique, one-of-a-kind tables, boxes, display cases, wine racks, cutting boards, pet beds, toys
and scores of other custom pieces.
At Wood, etc. customer service is just as important to us as finding the perfect piece of wood for a project.
We strive to always partner Ken's superior workmanship
with equally high quality customer service. Wood, etc. is a small family owned farm on the North Shore of Maui committed to
providing high quality handcrafted products and services to our customers.
